The Law Offices of L. David Levinson, P.C., have been practicing bankruptcy law in San Antonio for over twenty years, helping people file bankruptcy to save their homes and vehicles, recover from serious personal losses, like loss of job, illness, and business ventures that did not succeed. The Law Offices of L. David Levinson was the first law firm in San Antonio to file a Chapter 7 and a Chapter 13 bankruptcy case after the new law came into effect in October 2005. We know the law, remain current to changes, and have the tools to evaluate your case, and if appropriate, file your case expeditiously on line, direct to the bankruptcy court clerk's office.
The bankruptcy statute was drastically changed on October 17, 2005, now requiring a short financial evaluation review before
a person can file, plus submission of six months pay checks, and current tax returns. However, bankruptcy remains a viable and legal means of resolving your financial difficulties.
I have also represented businesses with collections, repossessions, creditors' rights, filing proofs of claims, and motions to lift the stay, and many other legal matters. In representing creditors in collections and bankruptcy proceedings, we take all the steps necessary to protect your rights, including filing claims before other creditors, typically securing a level of recovery other creditors are not able to attain.
If you or your business need bankruptcy assistance, please contact me. I will act expeditiously to protect your interests.
